Chogok Beach

Located 18km from Samcheok, between Yonghwa Beach and Jangho Port, and near Chogok Port, this place offers the atmosphere of a harbor. As a quiet fishing village, it is home to the birthplace and memorial hall of Hwang Young-jo, the hero of the Barcelona Olympics marathon, allowing visitors to experience the Montjuïc Hill experience and tour the memorial. This area is connected to Munam Beach, and guesthouses are located near the beach, making it convenient to find accommodation.

Chogok Beach boasts clean, transparent waters where the bottom is clearly visible, a wide white sand beach stretching over 3km to the nearby beach, and beautiful scenery combined with奇特 rocks.
