Daram Mountain Park

Located in Jinan-dong, Hwaseong, Daram Mountain Park is adjacent to Jinan Library and is a great place to visit all four seasons: to see flowers in spring, to enjoy water play and an artificial waterfall in summer, to feel the cool breeze in autumn, and to take light exercise or a walk in winter. This can be seen as a multipurpose space developed from a small neighborhood hill, featuring a park, library, and sports facilities. The children's playground has squirrel-shaped play equipment, slides, and a sand play area. Traditional Korean games such as the squid game (which was once famous in the media), palja play, and kkaengkkaengi play are painted on the ground, allowing children to learn our unique play culture while adults can also join in. Additionally, on the central hill of Daram Mountain Park, there is a pavilion called Danamjeong, which provides a place to rest while enjoying the cool summer breeze and serves as a viewpoint. The park also has a grass soccer field, a foot volleyball court, and a running track for year-round sports, along with various exercise equipment and clean public restrooms, making it an excellent spot for walking, exercising, or enjoying the neighborhood scenery.
