Dumulmeori Ecology School is located at Dumulmeori, Yangsuri, Yangpyeong-gun, on a vast site of 49,587m², consisting of various wildflowers and herbaceous plants, lotus fields and aquatic plants, and tree forests such as zelkova forests. In all four seasons, the Butterfly Eco-House, where over 1,000 butterflies fly at any time, and the exhibition room of over 50 species and 1,000 live insects, amphibians, and reptiles allow visitors to observe living organisms throughout the year. In addition, the specimen exhibition hall displays over 200 specimen frames containing about 1,000 species of Korean butterflies, foreign butterflies, Korean insects, and foreign insects. The Sericulture Museum features tools used by ancestors for raising silkworms, tools for making silk from silkworm threads, a video room on the life of silkworms, and a silkworm thread-pulling experience room. Year-round, under the guidance of expert teachers in various fields, education on insects, animals, wildflower forest commentary, and stargazing observation is available. Dumulmeori Ecology School operates strawberry picking experiences, ecological experience learning, ecological art programs, weekend ecological experience learning programs, and also offers ecological teacher training. Nearby attractions include Sujongsa Temple and Semiwon Garden.
