Youth Day: Youth Policy Expo

This event is held to commemorate the legal anniversary (the third Saturday of September) under the Framework Act on Youth enacted in 2020, and to foster social consensus and raise awareness about 'Youth Day' across all generations. The week following Youth Day is designated as Youth Week, with various events organized by central government ministries, local governments, public and private enterprises, youth centers, and young people themselves to create a platform for communication and enhance the significance of the commemorative day. In particular, this year's slogan 'Youth Are Here' conveys support for all young people in South Korea who live their daily lives at their own pace and direction. It emphasizes that youth should be respected as a natural generational flow pursuing values they create, and as beings in their own right, supporting the lives of young people living in the present moment. It also highlights that youth are active agents who raise their voices, become the protagonists of the era, and design the future, reexamining the roles of youth who have continued past history, youth as the driving force of current society, and youth who will shape the future.
