Ibuk Mandu

Located in the alley behind Seoul City Hall, Ibuk Mandu is a specialty restaurant for North Korean-style dumplings. Its signature dish is Ibuk Mandu-guk, which is served in a clear broth, not a beef bone broth base, with dumplings, green onions, and pepper sprinkled on top. The broth is not rich, highlighting a mild and clean flavor. The dumplings are large in size and generously filled. Another specialty menu item is Kimchi-bap (kimchi rice rolls). Sour kimchi broth is topped with kimchi and crunchy cucumbers, with rice rolled inside and savory sesame oil added. It is a perfect dish for hot summer days.
