Chuncheon Literature Park

This is a park themed around literature, created on the shores of Uiam Lake. Sculptures containing poems and literary works are installed throughout the peaceful ecological park that harmonizes with the lake. It contains good quotes from famous writers such as Kim So-wol, Yun Seon-do, and Jo Byeong-hwa. As you walk along the scenic trails, you naturally focus on the literary works. Nature and literature blend beautifully together. A sculpture called 'The Empty Seat of the Nobel Prize' has also been created, with the wish that a Nobel Prize in Literature winner will emerge from Korea. Chuncheon Literature Park is on the course of the Uiam Lake bicycle path and the Bomnae-gil walking trail (Course 4), and nearby attractions include the Animation Museum, Doctor's Village Children's Glamping Site, and the Tomb of General Shin Jang-jeol.
