Pobangteo Market

Pobangteo Market was formed at Pobangteo, a site where artillery training was conducted to protect the capital after the Imjin War and where Seoul was defended during the Korean War, leading to its current name Pobangteo Market. Surrounded by Bukhansan Mountain and Inwangsan Mountain, it is a small market with about 90 stores. It has been used as a filming location for movies and dramas, and since a restaurant in the market was introduced on the TV program <Street Food Fighter>, the number of visitors to the market has been steadily increasing.
