Ungilsan Mountain

It is said to be called 'Ungilsan' because clouds pass by and get caught on the mountain, stopping there. Ungilsan is located at an excellent vantage point overlooking the majestic scenery of Dumulmeori (Yangsur-ri), where the Bukhangang River, originating from Mount Geumgang and flowing approximately 371km through Hwacheon and Chuncheon, meets the Namhangang River, originating from Daedeoksan and flowing through Yeongwol and Chungju. The mountain and waters are beautifully harmonized. Around Ungilsan Station, there are abundant tourism resources such as water gardens, and if you drive along the Bukhangang River, you can enjoy beautiful landscapes and a driving course with water leisure tourism spots, making it an excellent mountain.
