Gimpo Monsterium is a place where you can experience both a zoo and an aquarium in one location, situated next to the Gimpo Fisheries Park Cafe. It is also famous as a filming location for the drama 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo'. The building's exterior, filled with the mysterious presence of a humpback whale that appears to be swimming, catches visitors' eyes. Here, you can observe various crustaceans, reptiles, rare animals, and even ancient fish. Although its scale is not comparable to large aquariums, the well-maintained transparent aquariums and clean indoor facilities provide a comfortable feeling. Throughout the venue, there are cute and fun photo zones where you can capture memorable moments in photos. For children, feeding experiences with carp, turtles, rabbits, and alpacas are popular. In the reptile section, you also have the opportunity to touch the animals directly. Additionally, you can see the arapaima, the world's largest freshwater fish that primarily inhabits the Amazon River, and if you visit at the scheduled time, you can also enjoy the arapaima show. On the building's rooftop, you can take a life shot at a place called the Stairway to Heaven, with the trick art-decorated rooftop floor as your background. The rooftop is also connected to the adjacent Fisheries Park Cafe, making it a good idea to visit both together.
