Yeoju Sunflower Village

Located on the border between Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do, Yeoju Sunflower Village is a clean and pleasant mountain village. The village is surrounded by the foothills of Taebongsan Mountain like a folding screen to the back, and to the east, the Seomgang River flows gently, offering beautiful scenery and fertile soil. Every year around September, the village prepares various experiences that allow visitors to learn about rural life and appreciate the value of agricultural products, including a sunflower festival, farming and harvesting experiences, a sunflower seed shelling contest, sunflower-themed activities, and a 4km sunflower path. Additionally, at both ends of the village, there are Sejong Observatory, Gamaseom Amusement Park, Satgatbong Hot Springs, and Castle Pine Golf Course, making it a rare rural village where one can enjoy both the rustic charm and modern tourism simultaneously.
