Why travelers stop here
Located along the riverside where the beautiful scenery of the Namhan River in Yeoju unfolds at a glance, Yeojuseon opened around April 1970 as a freshwater fish spicy stew specialty restaurant under the name Yeojuseon. Until the early 2010s, the Namhan River banks were lined with many freshwater spicy stew specialty restaurants of the same kind, but most of those establishments changed their business types. Now, the son, who inherited the 50-year traditional recipe, steadfastly continues the legacy as the only freshwater spicy stew specialty restaurant along the river, Yeojuseon. Using fresh ingredients purchased that morning, dishes are carefully prepared upon order and served to customers visiting the restaurant. While dining, guests can enjoy the natural scenery of the Namhan River through the windows. The representative menu is freshwater spicy stew, offering spicy mandarin fish stew, assorted stew, and yongbong stew (stew with chicken and freshwater fish).
