Why travelers stop here
Pohang Mulhoe is a mulhoe (spicy raw fish soup) specialty restaurant located in Bisan-dong, Dongan-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do. The interior is large and clean, and the menu is simple as befits a specialty restaurant. Pohang Mulhoe is made generously with halibut meat. The raw fish is fresh, and the more you chew, the nuttier the flavor becomes. If you do not like chewing on bones in the bite-sized sliced fish, ordering the boneless mulhoe is a good option. The mulhoe and broth are served separately, and both the vegetables and raw fish are plentiful. The broth is spicy, sweet, savory, and refreshing. Before the mulhoe is served, sticky nutritious rice wrapped in lotus leaves is provided; it has good stickiness and a slightly sweet taste that helps stimulate the appetite, along with somyeon (thin noodles) and green peas. One serving of nutritious rice and somyeon is provided per person. Pohang Mulhoe offers both takeout and delivery orders. Within 2 km, there are multiple parks including Pyeongchon Central Park; within 3 km, Sanbon Traditional Market; and within 6 km, Lotte Mall Gwangmyeong and Baegun Lake.
