Why travelers stop here
Dukkeobi Budae Jjigae is located across from Manan-gu Office in Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do. Established in 1980, this traditional budae jjigae specialty restaurant occupies the first and second floors of a standalone building, offering a spacious and comfortable dining experience. True to its specialty, the menu features only budae jjigae, which is popular for its deep, rich broth and spicy yet clean flavor. The ham, a key ingredient, is delicious, and the soup does not become salty or greasy even as it reduces. The generous portions come with ample ingredients. The side dishes are clean and mild, and the kimchi is made with domestic ingredients. In particular, the refreshing and cool dongchimi is excellent, and both side dishes and kimchi can be refilled as needed at the self-service corner. The use of a cauldron lid pot is another characteristic of Dukkeobi Budae Jjigae. Additional toppings such as rice cake, ramyeon, glass noodles, and sausage are available.
