Sanmaeul Umulga

Sanmaeul Umulga is a Korean traditional restaurant located in Bisandong, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do. It is situated just below Gwanaksan Forest Bathing Area and is a rustic-style yellow clay house. Inside the hanok with earthen walls that give the feeling of being in the countryside, seating is arranged in a floor-sitting style. Large group seating is also available. The signature menu item, the dolsotbap set meal, is based on stone pot rice and is generously served with 20 or more items on one table, including five types of seasonal wild greens, braised pollack, grilled croaker, pancakes, seasoned crab, various side dishes, and soybean paste stew. The main dish, braised pollack, is made by frying pollack and pouring sauce over it, which is great for stimulating the appetite. The wild greens are fresh and not heavily seasoned, allowing you to taste their natural flavors. The side dishes are neat, and the soybean paste stew is spicy, refreshing, and savory. You can add water to the stone pot to enjoy nurungji (scorched rice). There are charming old props both indoors and outdoors, providing visual enjoyment. There are many places nearby to take a walk after a meal. Right next to it is Gwanaksan Forest Bathing Area, and within 6 km are Pyeongchon Central Park, Dongpyeon Village Cafe Street, and Baegun Lake.
