Destination briefing
Why travelers stop here
Located in a quiet neighborhood in Bukbyeon-dong, Gimpo, Odaltong Bunsik carries the traces of time. True to its well-known reputation, the restaurant was bustling with customers even during weekday lunch hours. The signature menu item, Ra-jjol-tteokbokki, contains ramen, chewy noodles (jjolmyeon), fish cake, and rice cakes, and is cooked fresh upon order. The slightly spicy yet savory tteokbokki sauce evokes memories of the tteokbokki bought and eaten in front of school during student days. As it is located in a somewhat secluded area, it may be difficult to visit. Nearby, there is Gimpo Hyanggyo (a Confucian school), so you can stop by there as well. ※ Pets not allowed (guide dogs only)
