Eungogae Golden Lacquer Chicken is a lacquer chicken specialty restaurant near Namhansanseong Fortress. It operates on a reservation system, requiring reservations at least 1 hour and 30 minutes in advance. Parking is convenient with a spacious parking lot next to the building. Only domestic golden lacquer trees aged over 80 years are used, brewed for a long time in a traditional cauldron according to traditional methods. The toxic components are removed so that anyone can eat without taking allergy medication for lacquer. Water is not provided during the meal as it is said to reduce the efficacy of lacquer. When ordering food, basic side dishes including kimchi are provided, and additional kimchi incurs an extra charge. Golden lacquer water is sold separately at one side of the store.
