About 4km from Hwacheon-eup toward Peace Dam, there is Ttansan Recreation Area. Ttansan is more of a small hill by the water than a mountain. Its appearance floating like an island is impressive. In front, the calm Pungsancheon Stream flows, allowing fishing and water play, and many people visit for picnics or camping. There is an artificial waterfall, so on weekends or during vacation season, you can enjoy the cool waterfall.
