Yonghwasa Temple, a temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, is located in Naeson-dong, Uiwang-si, Gyeonggi-do. It was founded in 1943 by the great monk Hwa-eung, who came from Geumgangsan Mountain, in Anyang, and has been situated in Uiwang-si since 2004. The temple is a modern building with one underground floor and four above-ground floors. The basement floor houses a kitchen and a bathhouse, the first floor has a parking lot and the temple office, the second floor contains the Daeungjeon Hall and Mireukjeon Hall, the third floor features the Gwaneumjeon Hall and the monks' quarters, and the fourth floor is composed of the Sansingak Hall and a traditional tea house.
