Eomji Maeuntang

Eomji Maeuntang is a spicy fish stew specialty restaurant located in Toechon-myeon, Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, near the Gwangdong Clean Wetland Ecological Park. It is a long-established restaurant known for its spicy fish stew, with a spacious parking lot in front for convenient parking. The clean and spacious interior has many tables with ample spacing between seats. This restaurant uses only fresh live fish and offers only two menu items: japgogi maeuntang (mixed fish spicy stew) and megimaeuntang (catfish spicy stew). You can order additional sujebi (hand-pulled dough flakes) or a bowl of rice to accompany the stew. Orders are placed per person, and the generous portions of spicy fish stew come with neat basic side dishes. The rice, kimchi, catfish, and mixed fish are all domestically sourced, ensuring safe dining. Due to long cooking times, reservations are accepted on weekdays but not on weekends.
