Daseon

Daseon is a Korean fine dining restaurant located in Seolmun-dong, Ilsandong-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do. The access road is a single lane, making it somewhat inconvenient, but upon entering, there is a spacious parking lot and a well-maintained garden. Next to the exterior of the building, which has a mountain lodge feel, there is a circular outdoor space used for enjoying tea as a dessert. The interior features large plants, giving the feeling of being in a botanical garden. The menu includes braised beltfish, braised mackerel, fresh bulgogi, and braised chicken. If you order braised mackerel, it comes with nine side dishes and a stone pot rice. Since ingredients may run out and result in early closing, it is advisable to call ahead.
